A toponimia dos camiños de Santiago na infraestrutura de datos espaciais de Galicia (IDEG)
The value of toponymy as an instrument of the territory, which interacts with the landscape and even influences it, is reflected in cartography with a new dimension. The toponymic heritage of the roads to Santiago de Compostela integrated in the Nomenclátor Xeográfico de Galicia (NXG), adapted to the regulations and specifications of Inspire on geographical names, is incorporated into the Spatial Data Infrastructure of Galicia (IDEG). This will increase the analysis capacity of this information, facilitate its use in a coherent manner and through synchronised and interoperable web services.
